Me Pierre Frédéric Desmornes
Me Desmornes specialized in Business law and has a background in international law and in general private law from Montesquieu University in Bordeaux. His interest in international law is dictated by a desire to better defend Haiti’s interests in international conventions or treaties negotiations. He has been a member of Cabinet Salès Office since 2011, where he focuses his efforts in the practice of contract law. However, he gradually developed an increase interest for private law, brought about by his awareness of the enormous and quantitative needs of his clientele that he defends with dynamism. Fully conscious of the familiar problems experienced by many Haitian families in a country with historical estate succession troubles he centers his interest in family law and more specifically in the renewal of estate patrimony.
The areas of concern of his practice are almost invariably influenced by his sense of patriotic duty and command the virtues of an energetic, assertive, methodical and objective leader, which are useful qualities in litigation. Legal consultant for the “Groupe de recherche et d’Appui au Milieu Rural (GRAMIR)” among other things he worked on the preparation of the revise draft law on mining and quarrying.
